The 10G Transponder delivers protocol-transparent 10-gig transport with 3R (re-amplify, re-shape, re-time) regeneration and ITU-grid DWDM conversion. Client ports support 10GbE LAN/WAN, OC-192/STM-64, 10GFC (and selected CPRI/eCPRI rates, model-dependent), while the line side uses DWDM SFP+/XFP (fixed or tunable) on 50/100 GHz grids.
Integrated OTU2 framing with GFEC/EFEC extends reach and improves BER across multi-span routes. Rich diagnostics—DDM, PRBS (e.g., PRBS31), near/far loopback, LOS/LOF alarms—simplify turn-up and troubleshooting. The card fits HYD 1U/2U/5U platforms and pairs seamlessly with MUX/DEMUX, EDFA/Raman, OLP, OCM/OTDR for end-to-end visibility and protection. Management options include Web/CLI/SNMP and Netconf/YANG for automated provisioning.
