400G QSFP56-DD SR8—8×50G PAM4 @ 850 nm over MPO-16 parallel MMF; 100 m (OM4) / 150 m (OM5), 400GAUI-8 host, CMIS management—built for dense spine–leaf and 8×50G breakouts.
The 400G QSFP56-DD SR8 is a 400-Gigabit Ethernet multimode transceiver for short-reach, high-density data-center fabrics. It uses 8×50G PAM4 lanes at 850 nm over parallel MMF on a 16-fiber MPO-16 connector (8 fibers Tx / 8 fibers Rx) and presents an 8-lane 400GAUI-8 electrical host—ideal for leaf–spine interconnects and high-fan-out breakouts.
