Single/dual-channel 40G transponder with full 3R regeneration, grey↔DWDM wavelength conversion, OTU3 mapping with FEC, and carrier-grade monitoring for metro/DCI links.
The 40G Transponder delivers protocol-transparent 40-gig transport with 3R (re-amplify, re-shape, re-time) regeneration and ITU-grid DWDM conversion. Client ports support 40GbE, OC-768/STM-256, and 40GFC (model-dependent), while the line side uses DWDM optics (fixed or tunable, 50/100-GHz grid) for C-band operation.
Integrated OTU3 framing with GFEC/EFEC extends reach and cleans up BER across multi-span routes. Rich diagnostics—DDM, PRBS (e.g., PRBS31), near/far loopback, LOS/LOF alarms—accelerate turn-up and troubleshooting. The card fits HYD 1U/2U/5U platforms and pairs with MUX/DEMUX, EDFA/Raman, OLP, OCM/OTDR for end-to-end visibility, protection, and easy O&M. Management via Web/CLI/SNMP (optional Netconf/YANG) enables automated provisioning and performance reporting.
