Armored Jumper Series

The Armored Jumper Series is a rugged family of fiber patch cords built for harsh, high-traffic, or rodent-prone environments. A stainless-steel spiral tube (or interlocking steel armor) protects the optical core from crush, impact, and abrasion while maintaining flexibility for tight spaces and frequent moves/adds/changes. Available in single-mode and multimode with LC/SC/FC/ST connectors, these jumpers deliver low loss, stable end-face geometry, and long service life in telecom rooms, industrial plants, transport cabinets, and outdoor edge sites.

• Armor Construction: Stainless-steel spiral tube or interlocking steel; typical OD 3.0–4.8 mm; crush resistance ≥ 1000 N/100 mm (typ.); enhanced rodent/abrasion protection

• Connector & Polish: LC/SC/FC/ST in UPC/APC (SM) and UPC (MM); uni-boot LC optional; dust caps included

• Fiber Types: OS2 (G.657.A1/A2 bend-insensitive) and OM3/OM4/OM5 multimode

• Optical Performance (typ.): IL ≤ 0.30 dB (≤ 0.50 dB max); RL ≥ 50 dB (SM/UPC), RL ≥ 60 dB (SM/APC)

• Cables & Jackets: Simplex/duplex; PVC/LSZH; OFNR/OFNP (CPR on request); optional pulling eye for easy installation

• Lengths & Labeling: 0.5–100 m standard (longer on request); custom labels/serials; individual test reports available

• Durability & Environment: ≥ 500 matings; operating −20 °C to +70 °C; RoHS/REACH compliant

• Rugged Options: IP-rated outdoor connectors/shells (on request) for cabinets and field deployments
