End-to-end optical-layer visibility—OCM/OLPM/OTDR/OSC telemetry with thresholds, alarms, and analytics. Closed-loop power control for stable, high-availability DWDM/CWDM.
Intelligent Optical Monitoring unifies wavelength, power, and fiber diagnostics into a single, carrier-grade toolkit for metro, DCI, and backbone networks. Using in-service taps, it continuously measures per-channel power and wavelength (OCM), line power at critical points (OLPM), and fiber health with out-of-band OTDR—without disturbing live traffic. Built-in thresholds, hysteresis, and event correlation detect drift before it becomes an outage, while closed-loop workflows integrate with DVOA/EDFA/OLP to maintain equalized power and fast restoration.
The system runs on HYD 1U/2U/5U platforms and exposes Web/CLI/SNMP plus Netconf/YANG for automation, making it easy to schedule scans, export reports, and integrate alarms into your NMS/OSS.
In-service monitoring via passive tap; no traffic interruption
OCM: per-channel power & wavelength offset (DWDM/CWDM)
OLPM: multi-point line power for span loss & amplifier balance
OTDR: out-of-band fault localization (1625/1650 nm) with event tables
Closed-loop power control with DVOA/EDFA/OLP coordination
Thresholds, trend charts, reports; syslog & SNMP traps
Web/CLI/SNMP, Netconf/YANG APIs; low-power, hot-swappable cards
