The MTP/MPO Trunk Cable is a high-density backbone assembly that interconnects switches, cassettes, and patch panels across modern data centers and campus cores. Built with US Conec MTP® Elite or industry-standard MPO ferrules, it delivers low insertion loss, stable polarity, and fast, tool-free deployment for parallel optics from 40G/100G up to 200G/400G.
Fiber Counts & Types: 8F / 12F / 16F / 24F / 48F / 72F / 96F / 144F; OS2 (G.657.A1/A2 bend-insensitive) and OM3/OM4/OM5 multimode
Connectors: MTP®/MPO male (pinned) or female (unpinned); optional MTP® PRO (field-swappable gender/polarity)
Optical Performance (typ.): IL ≤ 0.35 dB per MTP® Elite connector (≤ 0.75 dB std.); RL ≥ 60 dB (SM APC) / ≥ 25 dB (MM UPC)
Polarity: Method A / B / C to match cassettes and transceiver pinouts (SR4/DR4/SR8/SR10 migrations)
