Passive PLC optical splitter (1×2–1×64, 2×2–2×32) and tap coupler options (99/1–70/30) in LGX cassette or 1U tray—low loss, high uniformity, LC/SC/APC, for PON, monitoring, and CWDM/DWDM distribution.
The OSU – Optical Splitter Unit delivers carrier-grade, fully passive signal distribution for access, metro, and DCI environments. Using PLC technology, the module provides stable split ratios across 1260–1650 nm with low insertion loss, excellent uniformity, and minimal PDL. It’s available as LGX cassettes or a 1U rack tray and integrates cleanly with HYD 1U/2U/5U platforms alongside MUX/DEMUX, OLP, and OCM cards. Typical uses include PON fan-out, optical power tapping for monitoring, lab break-outs, or wavelength system distribution at POP/IDC sites. Front-access ports, bend-radius control, and clear labeling simplify turn-up and ongoing O&M.
