The OCM – Optical Channel Monitoring Card provides continuous, in-service visibility of your wavelength layer. Using a low-loss tap input, it scans the spectrum and reports ITU channels with per-channel power and wavelength offset—helping you equalize EDFA stages, catch drift before it becomes an outage, and accelerate turn-up and troubleshooting.
Designed for carrier networks, the OCM integrates with HYD platforms (1U/2U/5U) alongside MUX/DEMUX, EDFA/Raman, OLP, OTDR, OLPM, and DVOA modules to deliver closed-loop power control and end-to-end observability. Operators can set per-channel thresholds, schedule scans, export reports, and automate workflows through Netconf/YANG.
